Phal Leucadia Princess Cordova ACC/AOS
I bought this orchid from Big Leaf Orchids. They have an amazing selection of unusual summer phals, and I really love fragrant phals. The big surprise from this one was its incredible cinnamon fragrance, unbelievable! It has grown well for several years, producing several flowers per spike. Now it seems to be struggling a bit. I repotted it last year but I think it needs more sphag moss for better moisture retention. Its new leaf seems to be growing, very slowly, and I see a fat new root, so I may repot it.
History and Features
This orchid displays waxy flowers in shades of rich pink to fuchsia, arranged on graceful arching spikes above the plant's broad leaves. This compact hybrid demonstrates the refinement typical of modern Phalaenopsis breeding, producing multiple blooms that create an impressive display along with the most delicious cinnamon fragrance!
Culture
I can’t find much about Phal Leucadia or Phal Cordova culture. The information below is the best I could come up with. I assume it grows like a typical summer phal. I will update as I gather more details.

Warmer than standard hybrids due to species parentage
Minimum temperature 60°F (16°C)

Some early morning sun beneficial

Does well under LED lights

Additional Notes
Sequential blooming tendency. Don’t cut off spike after blooming, since it can rebloom from the same spike.
Multiple bloom spikes possible
More compact than standard Phals, but leaves can get rather large as it matures.
Regular but weak fertilizer, 1/2 tsp per gallon
May bloom multiple times per year. Mine blooms in the summer only.
More warmth-loving than complex hybrids. Mine is on a heat mat under lights.
